We’re in pursuit of ultimate racing performance. By collaborating with Renault Sport Formula One™ to develop racing hybrid technology, we’re bringing cutting-edge innovation to the track. And the same power behind our world-class F1™ technology is what inspires INFINITI performance on the road.
A powerful partnership
Our unique partnership with Renault Sport Formula One™ Team inspires the development of performance-pushing innovations, both on and off the track.
Harnessing hybrid power
Our Energy Recovery System harnesses power that is normally lost. By harvesting heat and kinetic energy, and storing it in a battery, it gives the Renault Sport Formula One™ Team car a shot of added power on demand. With the same daring combination of performance and efficiency, Direct Response Hybrid generates extra power to push our road vehicles even further.
Some rules were made to be bent. Others, broken. Project Black S takes the Energy Recovery System that powers the Renault Sport F1™ race cars to the Q60 Coupe. More power, greater torque, instant acceleration. Discover the potential of the first road-ready F1™ inspired car.
Our partnership with the Renault Sport Formula One™ Team welcomes some of the brightest students from around the world to a 12-month placement working with both INFINITI and Renault Sport Formula One™. A brilliant opportunity for driven engineers, and a great addition to our team of hybrid specialists.
The path to progress demands a certain spirit: bold, relentless, driven. Something we’ve shared with our F1™ partners since 2011. With every collaboration, we put performance on the podium. Taking the sport — and you — forward.
Pursuing progress is the ultimate team sport. Behind every F1™ driver, hundreds of people push the limits in one united race to the podium.
From paddock to cockpit, these are the people who make it happen
On the road
Our collaboration with the Renault Sport Formula One™ Team helps us push our road vehicles even further. Enhancing their performance with hybrid powertrains, we're defining what’s next with more daring vehicles, like Q60 and Q50.
